I am an African American woman. Today my 2 kids and I visited Marshalls in Sunset Hills Plaza. I live nearby. Upon our arrival, a man at the front door greeted us in a very friendly manner. My teen son wen't to find a jacket in the boys department and me and my toddler wen't to find clothes in the toddler's department. Almost immediately I felt like I was being watched by a staff person nearby as I looked through the toddler clothing. I wen't to the dressing room to try clothes on my toddler. When we were done the staff person at the dressing room searched through my shopping cart to count how many items of clothes I had left as if I were trying to steal. When I headed to the front of the store to check out I realized I left my debit card in the car. I told my teen son to go get my purse out the car and I walked to the check out aisle. The man who initially greeted us at the front door walked away from the front door, walked up to me in the check-out aisle, stood there for a few seconds observing me as if I were trying to steal. At this point I was very irrated and upset and started to leave the store. However, I didn't wan't to put my kids clothes back so I proceeded with my purchase. TO MARSHALLS EMPLOYEES/MANAGER/DOOR GREETER, I DO NOT ENJOY BEING WATCHED WHEN I SHOP AND IF YOUR GOING TO TREAT PEOPLE LIKE CRIMINALS WHO HAVE DONE NO WRONG I WILL SHOP ELSWHERE.
I recently got hired on at Marshalls. Its fast pace and always learning something about products that we get in. We have a repeat clientele. I love seei g the same faces week by week. When my customers come in they ask the bargains they can get in our store. Bargains are hot!!! Plus my store is top with best over all customer satisfaction :) So please stop in and enjoy our low prices on top merchandise. Because why spend more when you can Marshalls.
This is my first time to go on this Branch. They have a lot of good items and very reasonable price. Workers are so approachable and accommodating.
I called and checked Marshall's website to verify its location. It's a typical Marshalls store with some good finds if you look hard enough.
I went in there for the first time, and had the worst experience ever. The associated was ok, but the managers was really really terrible. They wasn't friendly and welcoming. They all gave me weird looks when I came in there, like I was going to steal something. When in reality, I'm not stealing anything, and I also only have 2 things in my hands, which I was going to buy.
